The Axolotl – Mexican salamander or mudskipper – is fluid on land and sea. He is self healing – so is a powerful spirit animal for healing – with NO SCARS. He can regenerate limbs, and heal injury infinitely.

Axolotl speaks to you of great healing from trauma – clean healing (no scars), of potential to adapt. It has a weird sex life – it reaches sexual maturity and breeds even though it stays in its larval form – which to me indicates that – you will achieve a new maturity with the lessons of axolotl.

Interesting: Axolotl teaches that sometimes the only way we can heal is to NOT grow in ways that others want us to. To always grow, to keep growing, can become toxic. There is benefit to remaining immature in many ways. It stays immature, so that it has this power of regeneration and healing.
