      Stockcharts - Fire

All fire is one fire. It is the only 4th dimensional element – it exists in time, and when it “goes out,” it doesn’t go away, it just (law of conservation of energy) moves to the next place.

Fire is the essence, the spark of desire, of passion.

      Fire is determination and Will.

Too little fire doesn’t get the job done.

Too much fire is dangerous – “burn out,” or even destruction, like a forest fire or a house fire.

Just the right amount of fire (what I call “Focused fire”) is useful – to cook, to warm, to light. A campfire, a hearth-fire, a torch.

        Fire and Ice Yin/Yang

In the Norse creation myth, the primeval state before creation was not a void, but was fire and ice, in balance.

Many people might say that the opposite of fire is water – but the true opposite would be ice (which is water in a solid, frozen, cold state).
