Christopher Martin photography - Vermillion River

Fields and Rivers speak of your ability to step back, get some perspective. The Rivers mean that your emotions are flowing more freely now, and you can see better, the patterns that they carve in your physical life. How do your emotions shape your life? How does your life hamper your emotions? A flowing river means that there is balance between emotional and physical.

A river is a path, a method of transport, that connects your emotions to your body. Following a river, travelling on a river means you can harness your emotions for a creative and positive purpose – moving forward.

Falling below the surface of a river – caught in the currents, buffeted around, means you do not feel safe in your emotions. You may resist or fight your emotions.

Channel your emotions, and you can go further riding on them, than you do fighting them.
