Generally, stone is about permanence, solidity, grounding.
These are a few journey experiences with stones, rocks, minerals:
“The rain came pounding down – the emotions were too much. You had to protect yourself, and did so by turning to stone. Solidifying, grounding, not allowing the rain and emotions to penetrate.”
By turning to stone, you freeze yourself from growth – but are also protected from mosquito bites, insults, attacks. It is an ultimate protection that leaves you open to the elements, and there will be a slow, gradual erosion of this protection, but it is long lasting.
“Glowing minerals
At the mountain, you were shown minerals, glowing, translucent, like lava, but not hot. This is lighting up all of your chakras, polishing them like gems, and you basked in the glowing light, a very pleasurable feeling.
You felt ONE with all creation. And you are. You wanted to rise, go up, but instead stayed, and basked in the glowing, translucent, transcendent mountain minerals.”
MOSSY STONE: is like the cutting edge of rebirth and new life. The moss (the brighter the moss, the more dramatic the transformation) is new life, nourishing life, springing from cold stone. The stones are often (though not always) volcanic, from deep earth. Lying on the moss is not only deeply healing and nourishing, but also a symbol of rebirth, of drawing support and nourishment from the deep Earth.
Your mossy rock in the sun is healing. Grounded (stone) alive (moss) growing (sun). The pleasure of living is coming to you, you are making peace with your journey, with your beauty, with your strength.
It is a remembrance of a sacred place, a healing. It reminds you to hold to your beliefs, your spiritual traditions. Beautiful!
